Donald Negroski, M.D.
A neurologist since 1985, Dr. Negroski serves the Sarasota area. He is actively engaged in clinical research and is committed to finding the best treatment protocol for Multiple Sclerosis (MS). His affiliation with the MS Centers of Florida Foundation furthers his desire to treat and provide service for this population. The mission and vision of the MS Centers of Florida Foundation provides an opportunity to expand understanding of the MS disease process and advance the current treatment protocols. Dr. Negroski completed his undergraduate degree at Ohio Dominican College in Columbus, Ohio with a BS in Chemistry and Biology. In 1981, he graduated from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. As a Resident in Neurology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, in Cleveland, Ohio, he served as Chief Resident in 1984 -’85 and following his Fellowship in Neurology in 1985, he moved to Sarasota to begin his medical practice.
Dr. Negroski has privileges at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Doctors Hospital of Sarasota and HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Sarasota where he has served as Co-Medical Director of the Multiple Sclerosis Program since 1995. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Society of Neuroimaging, Southern Neurological Society and Sarasota County Medical Society.
He has been recognized by the International Youth Achievement Award, National Scholastic College Honor Society, Anna Burst Award and American Chemical Society Award.
Married for over 18 years, Dr. Negroski and his wife, Susan, have three sons. He enjoys boating and golf.
