The very first initiative of the MSCFF is to assemble a network of community based, physician clinics across Florida. What makes these clinics unique is their shared desire to participate in a coordinated effort to elevate the care of MS across the state. This group of physicians play a vital role in attracting clinical research opportunities into Florida at an accelerated pace. There are currently six clinics in the MS Centers Network representing most of the major population centers between Miami and Orlando. All the physicians in the network are board certified. Among them, these physicians treat over 4000 MS patients.

This physician-led network is vital to the future of MS care in Florida because their cooperation, shared expertise and clinical experience will produce superior treatment plans. By sharing their medical knowledge, expertise and opinion, these clinics have, and will continue to develop treatment strategies that are more advanced than would be found in practices that do not see Multiple Sclerosis as a major part of the illnesses that they treat.

It is also expected that the establishment of this network will attract clinical research opportunities into Florida at an accelerated pace.
