William David Honeycutt, M.D.

 

A board certified neurologist since 1995, Dr. Honeycutt has served the Maitland area for 11 years. He has long had an interest to pursue clinical research and improve treatment protocols and options for the patient with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). His affiliation with the MS Centers of Florida Foundation provides an avenue to pursue both.

Born in Huntsville, Alabama, Dr. Honeycutt completed his undergraduate degree at Birmingham Southern College, Birmingham, Alabama and graduated from University of Alabama School of Medicine in 1987. In 1991, he completed his residency in Neurology at University of Alabama in Birmingham.

Dr. Honeycutt is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, Florida Medical Association, Orange County Medical Society, American Society of Neurorehabilitation, National Stroke Association and a member of the Stroke Council of American Heart Association. He is currently participating as a Primary Investigator in Phase 2, Phase 3 and Phase 4 Multiple Sclerosis clinical trials and provides treatment for over 350 MS patients.

Dr. Honeycutt and his wife, Laura, have been married for 11 years and have one daughter, Jessica. He enjoys many sports, especially golf.
