Karla Ledoux-Coton, M.D.

 

A board certified neurologist since 1997, Dr. Ledoux-Coton established her practice to serve the Tampa area. She has given special focus to the treatment of patients with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and has seen great results with her treatment of MS spasticity. Dr. Ledoux-Coton values the mission of the MS Centers of Florida Foundation as it is aligned with her desire to incorporate treatment to meet all of the needs of MS patients.

Born in Largo, Florida, Dr. Ledoux-Coton completed her undergraduate degree in chemical engineering in1984 from the University of South Florida. She graduated in 1992 from University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. With completed internships at Suncoast Hospital in Largo, Florida and Neurology residency at the University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida she graduated in 1996.

Dr. Ledoux-Coton and her husband, Angelo, have been married for 10 years. She enjoys scuba diving, snow skiing and her passion for ballet has included performances for many charitable events including the George Steinbrenner Christmas Program for Underprivileged Children, MS fund raising and patient education events.
