Brian Steingo, M.D.

 

A board certified neurologist since 1983, Dr. Steingo serves the Fort Lauderdale area. He has been active for many years with the MS Society, South Florida Chapter, having served in several capacities, was honored in 2001, as the Health Professional of the Year Award. Dr. Steingo has served as a Board of Trustee for the National MS Society since 1997. His involvement with the MS Centers of Florida Foundation is a continuation of his dedication to serving patients with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). As part of the MS Centers Network of physicians, Dr. Steingo continues his work with and for the MS patient.

Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Dr. Steingo completed his undergraduate degree in 1968 and medical degree in 1971 at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He completed his internship in Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas where he served as Chief Resident in 1979.

Dr. Steingo lives with his wife in Fort Lauderdale and has practiced neurology there for 22 years. He enjoys bird photography and football.
