Teri Callendar, P.A.-C.
As a certified physician assistant serving the patients at the MS Center of Sarasota, Teri works with Drs. Negroski, Stein and Sutherland, fulfilling her desire of assisting MS patients. “I have known many patients who have struggled with the diagnosis and disease of MS,” Teri explains, “The treatment of MS requires a multi-disciplinary approach to care for the whole patient, and my team-based health care training fits the MS patient.” Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, Teri Callender completed her Bachelor’s Degree in 1991 at State University of New York in Albany. She continued her studies at Yale Medical School Physician Assistant Program, receiving a Master’s certificate in 1993. Teri’s sense of community service was well utilized as she volunteered at the Clearwater Free Clinic from 1997 - 2000.
Married for 4 years, Teri and her husband enjoy scuba diving, sailing, kayaking and spoiling their cocker spaniel.
